Description

Agency: Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI), on behalf of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) and U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) Location: Specific location TBD. Huntsville, Alabama local commuting area. USSPACECOM requires a new, permanent warfighting HQ C2F on Redstone Arsenal to support its critical national security mission. A clean, 64-acre site on the installation has been designated for the USSPACECOM C2F. The operational HQ facility is expected to accommodate approximately 1800 personnel. Key facility components will include a Visitor Control Center, vehicle inspection area, and secure data center. The estimated total square footage (SF) for these primary facilities is 700,000 SF. The HQ facility will have stringent security features supporting 24/7operations. Interested parties should be highly experienced in the design and construction of technology-driven operations centers, resilient and redundant infrastructure, integrated information technology (IT) systems, secure space (ICD

705) standards, High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) hardening, and Radio Frequency (RF) Shielding.
