1) 3120 01-027-0025 MFG NAME: UNITED STATES COAST GUARD SFLC PART_NBR: 628WPC-4302-1 PIECE-21 QTY: 6 210 B CLASS INTERMEDIATE STRUT OR STERN TUBE BEARING. SPECIFICATIONS: FLANGED SHAFT BEARING. LONGITUDINALLY SPLIT ON TAPER ALONG THE LENGTH. MATERIAL: SYNTHETIC RUBBER FACING WITH A CAST NON-FERROUS METAL SHELL MANUFACTURED TO MIL-DTL-17901C, CLASS II. SEE DEVIATIONS FROM MIL-DTL-17901 AND QPL17901 NOTED BELOW. SHAFT SLEEVE SIZE: 10". LENGTH: 24". FLANGE DIAMETER: 15 .50". FLANGE THICKNESS: .750". BODY OUTSIDE DIAMETER: 12.750 +.030 - .000". THE COAST GUARD HAS MODIFIED THIS REQUIREMENT, WHICH INCREASED THE OUTSIDE DIAMETER OF THE SHELL BY .250", AND ELIMINATED THE DRILLING OF BOLT AND JACKING HOLES. SEE DEVIATIONS FROM MIL-DTL-17901 AND QPL-17901 LISTED BELOW. THE SHIPPING CONTAINER SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM D3951-98. THE CONTAINER SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED OF 3/4" PLYWOOD AND ASSEMBLED WITH PHILLIP HEAD WOOD SCREWS, TOTALLY ENCLOSED, WITH INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL BRACING. WOODEN BLOCKING SHALL BE INCORPORATED TO PREVENT ITEM FROM MOVEMENT DURING MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS. THE BEARING HALVES SHALL BE BANDED TOGETHER WITH TWO STEEL STRAPS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE THE COAST GUARD CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR SEVEN (7) CALENDAR DAYS NOTICE PRIOR TO COAST GUARD QUALITY ASSURANCE CONFORMANCE INSPECTION(S). NOTES: A) OFFERS NEED NOT BE QUALIFIED TO QPL-17901-QPD DATED 6/12/2008. QUALIFICATION

REQUIREMENTS PER SECTION 3.1, 4.2 AND 6.3 OF MIL-DTL-17901C (SH) ARE WAIVED. TO BE CONSIDERED, OFFERS SHALL SUBMIT A FULL DATA PACKAGE INCLUDING DRAWINGS, LITERATURE AND ANY QUALIFICATIONS WHICH CAN BE VERIFIED TO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ABOVE MILITARY SPECIFICATION. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333998 and the business size standard is 500. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13 The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award on an all or none basis to a responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government. Award will be lowest price technically acceptable. The Coast Guard intends to award on a Firm Fixed Price Contract.
