The purpose of this notice is to inform potential offerors of a forthcoming requirement for Electronic Security System (ESS) maintenance and services at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. In accordance with FAR 5.101(c), the following information is provided: (1) Set-Asides: This proposed contract action is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible small businesses may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. (2) Codes for Services: NAICS Code: 561621 - Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths) (Size Standard: $25.0 Million) (PSC): J063 - Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment: Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems (3) Description: (i) Description of Services: The U.S. Army requires non-personal services to provide comprehensive maintenance and service of an integrated Electronic Security System (ESS) for the Combined Arms Center (CAC) and the U.S. Army Garrison at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The
scope of work includes all personnel, equipment, supervision, and materials necessary to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the existing ESS infrastructure. This infrastructure consists of a Physical Access Control System (PACS), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system. Key systems currently in place include, but are not limited to, a C-Cure 9000 access control solution, a Lenel ACS system, and a BOLD Group Manitou central software solution for Intrusion Detection. The IDS equipment is based on DSC control equipment. The
objective is to ensure all systems remain fully operational and meet all required performance standards.
