Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The purpose of this sources sought is for market research to gain knowledge of potential sources for future needs including interested small business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. Kansas Air National Guard, McConnell AFB will soon be soliciting for a project to replace water meters at twelve (12) buildings. Work shall consist of the following: Remove existing water meters in Buildings 3, 4, 33, 36, 37, 40, 41, 42, 48, 49, 50, and 65. At all sites, install new Sierra Instruments 203-4-CP-NIST Ultrasonic Digital Liquid Flow Meter with modbus communication. The contractor is to conduct pre-installation site assessments to evaluate existing meter configurations, verify pipe materials, sizing, specific installation

requirements, identify access restrictions, document possible outage windows, coordinate utility shut offs, and assess current DDC panel locations and protocols. The scope includes provision and installation of dedicated power sources for each meter where needed, physical and software integration with existing DDC systems, startup, calibration, operational testing to verify accurate flow measurement and date reporting, and site cleanup. Upon completion, contractor to provide installation reports, calibration certificates, and O&M manuals. Additional information: Coordination with CE will be required for programming and integration with existing DDC system. For this requirement, the small business size standard is $19 million for NAICS 238220. In the event small business contractors are not avaialble for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
