Sole Source Notice for Combined Synopsis and Solicitation

Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD, hereby gives notice of intent to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement to Modern Machine Integrators, LLC, (Cage Code: 9PNK4), on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency

requirements. The purchase order is anticipated to include a five (5) year of performance. COMFRC has

requirements for as needed preventative maintenance and repair services for equipment supported by the contractor. Modern Machine Integrators, LLC, (Cage Code: 9PNK4) is the OEM for the equipment. Modern Machine Integrators, LLC, based in Tennessee, is the only known source for the required preventative maintenance and repair services. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be reviewed. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
