Description

Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood is issuing a SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) firm fixed price construction contract to repair barracks at Buildings No. 29008, 29009, 29010, and 29026. The purpose of this project is to repair sustainment items in barracks while soldiers are deployed to include but not limited to walls, painting, ceiling fans, sinks, faucets, showerheads, tubs, toilet seals, cabinets, light fixtures, cover plates, surfaces repair to walls and floors, etc. The work shall be located at 1270 W. Old Ironsides Ave, Fort Hood Texas. This acquisition is 100% Women Owned Certified Small Business Set Aside under NAICS 236220 (Size Standard $45.0 Million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The purpose of this project is to repair Barrack Buildings No. 29008, 29009, 29010, and 29026. The work shall be located at 1270 W. Old Ironsides Ave, Fort Hood Texas. Also included is miscellaneous site work to support the facility and meet code

requirements. The contractor shall provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to complete this

scope of work. Except as provided elsewhere in this contract, all work shall comply with applicable State, local and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. All work under this contract will be performed within the confines of the Fort Hood Military Installation, at Fort Hood, TX. The Wage Determination: General Decision Number: TX20260230 01/02/2026, Superseded General Decision Number: TX20250230; State: Texas; Construction Type: Building County: Bell County in Texas, will govern work under this contract. The bid guarantee in the amount shall be at least 20% of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. An organized site visit will be conducted for this procurement on March 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM CDT. Details of that site visit will be available in the solicitation. The bid opening will be conducted on March 31, 2026 at 10:00 AM CDT please refer to the Solicitation for additional details. The contract performance will be 210 days after contract award. The technical exhibits will be available for inspection without charge thru the Government wide Point of Entry (https://www.sam.gov). No paper copies of this solicitation are available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to all documents.
