The purpose of this amendment is to add pictures for the three static displays for reference. See Attachment 5 through Attachment 9.

24 March 2026 NRH This is an official Request for Quote (RFQ) Notice (FA462526Q1055). The U.S. Air Force 509th Contracting Squadron at Whiteman AFB is posting this solicitation, Request for Quote (RFQ), to award a contract for the restoration of three Aircraft Static Displays located on Whiteman AFB, MO, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work, dated

17 March 2026. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The B-29, FB-111, and T-38 aircraft on static display in the museum airpark need new paint and minor repairs to mitigate water intrusion and resultant corrosion and must be repainted in order to provide a quality display appearance. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts, and labor necessary to accomplish the painting of the static display aircraft. The contractor will also be responsible for ensuring environmental regulation compliance.

DELIVERABLES: The contractor shall deliver 125 days after receipt of the order. Services will be performed at Whiteman AFB, MO 65305.
