Description

The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) and negotiate an Order under existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0003025G1038 issued on a sole source basis to General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), Pittsfield, MA. SSP is seeking firms capable of successfully performing efforts to establish COLUMBIA program Strategic Weapon Interface Simulator (SWIS) onsite System Integration Testing (SIT), deployment and installation support services to the Kings Bay Trident Training Facility (KBTTF), and Hardware Configuration Items (HWCI) repair and support services for COLUMBIA/DREADNOUGHT through the Shipboard Electronics Repair Facility (SERF). Efforts shall be performed and delivered in accordance with the applicable Ordnance Directives (ODs), Technical Program Management processes, Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Shipboard Electronics Repair Facility (SERF) Program Plan, OD 65000, the Inspection Guide and Standard Repair Procedures (SRP) for the SSP SERF, OD 65001, T9001C Checklist dated March 24, 2025, and applicable SSP Instructions (SSPINST). Award will be made using other than full and open competition to General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the only known source with the requisite design

background, system knowledge and operational experience relative to the TRIDENT II Fire Control Subsystem capable of providing the required efforts within existing technical, cost and fleet schedule constraints.
