Background. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires the repair and rehabilitation of the concrete walls and the floor of the Upper North Regulating Outlet (RO) wall located at Detroit Dam in Gates, Oregon 97346. The primary

scope of work is to perform concrete removal and repair of erosion damage to the concrete walls and floor of the RO conduit. Repair of this erosion will require saw cutting, concrete removal, preparation of the concrete surface, and application of a polymer modified repair mortar to restore the wall and floor to the original conduit geometry. Also, at the Governments option, the work can include the application of a protective epoxy coating on designated locations of the conduit surface.
