Description

This requirement is for a complete, like-for-like replacement of an existing commercial rooftop unit, or RTU.

The required equipment package must meet or exceed the following specifications.

The base unit must be one 12.5-Ton Gas Heat and Electric Cooling Rooftop Unit with a 208-volt, 3-phase power supply.

The unit must have single circuit, two-stage cooling with a minimum 10.8 EER or 15.0 IEER, and two-stage medium gas heat with a first stage of 180 MBH input and a second stage of 224 MBH input.

It must also feature a high-static direct-drive vane axial fan, such as a Carrier EcoBlue or equivalent, and use a modern, low GWP refrigerant like R-454b.

The package must also include the following compatible accessories: one Vertical Economizer with a controller, one Enthalpy sensor and harness for the economizer, and one standalone, two-stage programmable thermostat.
