The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting .102(a) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency

requirements, to Midwest Medical Systems for a pharmacy accessory bagging system (PABS-115V) SX Proline Series. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement no later than March 28th, 2026 at 17:00 CT. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required supply as described in draft Statement of Work below. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement, Notice of Intent. If after March 28th, 2026 no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Midwest Medical Systems. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. The

This equipment will allow pharmacy staff to pack medications in a bag with the appropriate barcode for the nurse to scan. A brand name or equal package/dose sealer equivalent to the one identified in the table below is required. Brand Name

Requirements: (a) If an item is identified as "brand name or equal," the purchase description shall reflect the characteristics and level of quality that will satisfy the Government s needs. (b) For equivalent items to be considered equivalent of the product(s) of the brand name manufacturer, they must- (1) Meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristic specified in this solicitation; (2) Clearly identify the item by- (i) Brand name, if any; and (ii) Make or model number; (3) Include descriptive literature such as illustrations, drawings, or a clear reference to previously furnished descriptive data or information available to theÂ
