Specifically, we would like to confirm whether the compressor can be isolated during the replacement process, or if the addition of new refrigerant will be required. Isolating the compressor during replacement is not possible. The refrigerant from the entire circuit must be recovered and, because of the nature of the failure, cannot be reused. Additionally, during installation, the oil equalizer line will need to be drained, and fresh oil should be added to the circuit to ensure proper system functionality 3. Extend the submission due date Submission of your response shall be received not later than Tuesday,
