Description

This announcement constitutes a SOURCES SOUGHT for information and planning purposes to identify qualified and experienced sources for an anticipated Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award to provide and deliver three (3) ISO dry bulk shipping containers for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center. This sources sought notice does not constitute as a Request for Quote (RFQ) nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to the ultimate decision of the acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse the contractor for any cost associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice.

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) of Norfolk, Virginia is seeking to identify qualified and experienced sources to procure and deliver the materials below:Three (3), 8? wide x 8? high x 20? long ISO dry bulk shipping containers.The containers must be modified to include the following features:1. Double lockable doors on each end.2. Double lockable doors on each side.3. Reconfigurable cargo rack storage system accessible through the double doors on each end.4. Reconfigurable middle of the module storage compartment system (Similar to Stanely Vidmar cabinets), accessible through the double doors on each side.5. Meets the Department of Defense technical specifications and suitable for worldwide shipment via aircraft, ship, and truck services.
