The Department of Defense is procuring Local Telecommunications System services for Lakehurst NAS at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. Local Telecommunication System Service (Lakehurst NAS) The government is contemplating award of a
requirements contract with fixed priced task orders for Local Telecommunications System services on the Lakehurst NAS area of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, facilities, materials, and services needed to perform and provide local access to the designated circuit demarcation point(s) identified in Appendix 1 to this Performance Work Statement. These services shall include any equipment, wiring, or infrastructure to ensure the Contractor’s proposed solution is compatible with the Government’s current infrastructure without additional Government expense. Access to the local exchange shall also include operator assistance functions. These services shall not include residential or business services for non-Government entities or Government contractors. This is a commercial acquisition. The base period is from
1 July 2026 through
30 June 2027 with 4 one-year option periods and an optional 6 Month Option Period. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the most current federal acquisition circular. This action is being procured under NAICS code 517111 (Wired Telecommunications Service) and related business standard – 1,500 Employees. The solicitation is expected as a RFQ issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management in order to do business with the government. The due date for proposals will be posted in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) website. Paper copies will not be made available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon interested contractors to monitor the System for Award Management web page frequently for updates/amendments to the solicitation.
