Description

The

Contracting Officer has determined through additional market research that extending the proposal due date/time for the Phase 1 Pre-Qualification RFP to increase competition is in the best interest of the Government. If an interested contractor has already submitted a proposal, they are not required to re-submit it. The SWM intends to issue a RFP and award a firm-fixed price (FFP) Design-Bid-Build (DBB) contract to a single contractor after the establishment of a prequalified pool of contractors on a full and open competition basis (Phase 1 ? Establish a Pre-Qualification Pool of Contractors). Only the pre-qualified contractors included within the limited competition pool will receive the Phase 2 RFP ? Runway Repair and Airfield Lighting). The United States Government (USG) will evaluate the received Phase 2 proposals using the best value trade off source selection procedures in accordance with (IAW) Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul (RFO) Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation and RFO Part 36 - Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. The project site is located at an undisclosed location within the Kingdom of Jordan.
