Description

VISN 15 Pathology & Laboratory Services Fixed price, non-competitive agreement for automated blood gas instrumentation.

VISN 15 currently utilizes GEM Premier 5000 instruments at multiple VA Medical Centers across the VISN 15 footprint under an existing FSS order.

No new or replacement instruments are required; the requirement is for CPT-based services and OEM support of the existing analyzers.

The current analyzers function as free-standing blood gas analyzers performing pH, pO2, pCO2, electrolytes, metabolites, ionized calcium, and on-board CO-oximetry testing on arterial blood.

All on-board tests have final FDA clearance and approval at the time proposals are submitted.
