Description

The U.S. Coast Guard requires services for removal of existing 40 kW, 120V/240V, three-phase standby diesel generator system and replace it with a new generator system of equivalent specifications. The work includes upgrading the associated Automatic Bypass Transfer Switch (ABT) to match the new generator capacity, ensuring proper exhaust and ventilation, and renewing the fuel system piping and accessories as required. The contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, and other items and services necessary to remove and replace existing diesel generator. The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed-price purchase order for this project. The full

scope of work and specifications will be included in the solicitation documents. Due to access door width, entire generator assembly must be a maximum of 34 ¾” wide to be able to fit into access doorway.
