Description

The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City requires a contractor to provide vacant property maintenance services for two commercial properties in Mexico City: the former Embassy building at Reforma area and the former Benjamin Franklin Library. Both properties are regularly visible from the surrounding area, and the

objective of this contract is to ensure that each site is maintained in an orderly condition throughout the

period of performance. The anticipated performance period is for a base year plus 1-year option period, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered as long as it complies with the RFQ

requirements. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed priced type contract. The Government is planning a Site Visit and the date for this visit will be stated in the solicitation. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a) Offerors must be registered in SAM at the time an offer is submitted in order to comply with the annual representations and certifications

requirements. Failure to be registered at the time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation

requirements and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, you are encouraged to complete the registration process and have an active account in sam.gov prior to proposal submission.
