NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit on a competitive basis for the procurement of the following part: QTY: 27 NSN: 1RM 1680 016909801 BL P/N: MBCS15065-104 Item: REEL,SHOULDER HARNE Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies.

This is a competitive Navy procurement, approved sources are MARTIN-BAKER AIRCRAFT CO CAGE: U1604, ALLIED DEFENSE INDUSTRIES INC (CAGE: 0GD25), INTEGRATED PROCUREMENT TECHNOLOGIES (CAGE: 4K0V2), KAMPI COMPONENTS CO INC (CAGE: 7Z016) and KIHOMAC INC (CAGE: 67MK1) and it is expected that award will be made to one of these firms.
Any firm which is not already approved to manufacture this material must submit a Source Approval Request, SAR.
