This combined Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers- Chicago District to inform interested contractors of the Districts in-tent to issue a solicitation for Disposal of Intermediate Bulk Containers (Totes).PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, services for the proper removal and reuse, recycling, and/or disposal of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) and metal drums, and their contents, from two different USACE Chicago District site locations. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, and equipment to complete the work. The Contractor shall be responsible for determining the means and methods for proper removal and reuse, recycling, and/or disposal of the IBCs and drums, and their contents, in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations. All but three of the IBCs contain, or previously contained, concrete admixtures. Two IBCs are empty and previously contained used oil. One IBC contains used oil. See the attached Statement of Work for a detailed description of the required services. Contracted personnel must be trained, certified, and equipped for all safety operations in accordance with (IAW) U.S. Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 standards.ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is RESERVED EXCLUSIVELY for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry System Code is 562219, with a small business size standard in dollars of $47.0 Million.The Award date is planned for April 2026.
